Small Changes Make a Big Difference

Our little kitchen will never be in a decorating magazine, but I love it just the same. It's an eat-in kitchen with big pretty windows, a breakfast bar, a pantry, and a dishwasher. Plus it's colorful and fun. What more could I ask for?

Even though I love it, it's still fun to add little touches or change things up occasionally. Tweaking the decor of my house (always on a tight budget of course) is a great joy for me. I'd been admiring the "tin" backsplash at Lowe's for ages and finally bought two panels to put behind my stove. It was super easy and I really like it, plus it won't be a big deal to take down if I get tired of it someday.

Before (excuse the funky lighting - I took these pictures at night):

And after:

Another "after" view so you can see more of the kitchen.
